ports look like shit. make them flared by doing the following

cut a mdf ring just a hair larger then pvc pipe. glue it with the pvc pipe directly to the mdf peice.

get flush cutting rabitting router bit, cut hole with that, then get a roundover bit and round it. all done.

You gonna mount the amp's bass knob anywhere?I am considering mounting mine in the dash but havent decided yet.

Is the amp rack gonna look pretty?
the amp rack will be clean. Essentially.... not pretty... lol... not compared to yours ecpecially. I am putting about 4 coats of black shiney paint on this smooth wood biznash, It will mount and has a 1 inch clearance between the seat and the board.

I am not telling you how i am mounting it tho... its a littel embarrising. Ed you know what the back of the seats are. just hard plastic. lol...

yes, i amrealy have the cold cathod elights hooked up to a know under the dash. i will put the bass knob there too. You cant see it, i would rather it not be visable beacuse they arent pretty switches and knobs.

My new amp rack wont be pretty, well for now it will just be a painted black board because I am running out of time to finals.

But the back of the seats are just plastic which is better than most cars that just have foam and cloth.

But my back seats dont exist anymore.

I am sure if you run wires clean and make a pretty mounting board, it will look good.

It should look good, it will look clean, but overall, the amps and all the wiring will be invisable to the eye unless i fold down the seats. i am basically hooking the wall up the seats so they are now one big seat.

i think the hooks are called swag hooks. I will be using 5 of them to hook up the wall. 1 in each corner and one in the middle. I drilled into the back of the seats and they are just an empty void, so i was like, WTH,why not. We will see how it turns out. .... embarrising.
