Does anyone have an Alpine MRP-M650 powering a 1ohm load? I'm looking to buy an Alpine SWR-1542(or 22)D . I like the specs on the 22 better and want to run it at 1ohm not 4ohm. How will it effect the power output and the SQ? Also, does anyone know what the max power rating is for this amp? Thanks!

ya hifonics 1608 or 2008d will do the job

what should the gain be set to? i don't see a gain controller on the amp? i only see lp freq, bass bost, and sens?

look in the amp section theres a gain setting tutitoral somewhere. and im pretty sure imput sensitivity is the gain

Ported 2.0 cube @ like 37-40hz if you want it louddd.

Yeah 600 watts is fine for the hype R, don't clip the signal and for gods sake don't use the bass boost if your amp has one.
