yea the "buildhouse" didn't do a good job with the first coat... some wetsanding later, i gotta paint that thing again.

When its done it'll look more like the ports in the pic.

No, just set the adjustments on the amp accordingly. And is it one 2 ohm or one 4 ohm?

I'm thinking about getting 4 type r 12's and powering them with a Powerbass XA-3000d. Thinking about going 3 cubes per sub before displacement in the back of my burban. Any problems you see with this setup, I also plan on picking up a H.O. Alternator.

I have a big plan to get one 12" Type R. Now, I have a PA A3000DB, it 1 Ohm stabe. But there is a dilemma in my mind, to get 4 Ohm DVC or 2 Ohm DVC sub. What is the difference in SQ between 1 Ohm and 2 Ohm ? Planing to use 2 cf. vented, tuned about 30 Hz. Does not trained human ears feels the difference between 1 Ohm and 2 Ohm ? omh load does not affect the sound whatsoever... the ohm load ONLY affects how the sub can be wired... sound is the same at whatever ohm load
