definately Bob's, they live down the road from me so I pop in every now and again...

Mike from Team Renots had a very very loud setup in his Cutlass was it? The MTX's were quite loud but I'm not sure if the new wall is street beatable or if its a burp box. Anyone know?

hmm....the loudest system I have heard is John's Astro (some of you may know him, Jracer, he post on ROE occasionally).He is a local here in tampa, and has meets on the second Saturday of every month at this car shop in Oldsmar, FL. He has a white astro that use to have 16 12" FI SSD's (but he now has a new build of 18 15"s ascendant audios going in there) and 8 kicker kx1200.1's. There was a TL there, and he was doing a perfect 149.9 bass race, and peaked at about 153.3 I think. This was before he had done any major tuning or added the extra kicker amps I think (He had six at the time iirc). But anyways, sitting inside with music was LOUD as fawk. Great sounding system. loudest i have heard was in Hilo Hawaii a CRX with 9 PG Xmax 12" tuned to 30 Hz.

I believe the CRX was in the mid 50's on a termlab circa 2001.

loudest set up was in my buddys geo metro. his stock speaker was getting 6 watts RMS!

It was nucking futs!.

Well there was this time I was headed to work playing my music fairly loud, I have 2000RMS in the trunk.

When all of the sudden I thought my car was going to explode, and every second it got worse and worse, after approxiamtly 20 seconds, an old monte carlo, sitting on 26 some inches with a candy green paint drives past me with the windows down.

Even though I run 750 RMS to my tweeters and mids, I couldn't hear my music when his car crossed mine.....

I did not know what it is or how much watts were in there, but it just stooopid.....

If anybody in colorado drives this thing. let me know, I'd like to come and check it out

Loudest I've kinda heard was Scott Owen's ride when he was doing 178's, but with his Extreme class truck you really don't hear much when he burps. The loudest street vehicle I've heard was Bob Perillo's van with him burping 168's with 9 15" T3's and 180,000 watts. Then he Bass Raced at 161 db's.

180,000!!!! Is that right, it doesn't even seem possible? I am not doubting you, but I just have never heard of that much power, lol

Loudest I have heard inside a vehicle is mine or my brother's, he runs 2 12" Type Rs in a Jetta off of a Directed 1500D. His might be a little louder than mine, but not sure. I have done 143.6 before, but I think on a new song I found I would be 145ish as it seems louder than what I hit the 143.6 on.
