the loudest system you've ever heard..

the loudest music playing vehicle is either tommy's truck or Bob perillo's van. i have seen bob start bass race with a 140 and finish up with a 161.x. this means he was actually louder than the finishing score, my guess would be in the 165 range. That is on music, not a burp. his 180,000 watts is using 18 SS10000 amps.
Renots cutlass will be getting alot louder shortly;)//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

my car gets pretty loud, 91 civic, 2 custom built 18's in a wall with a AB 500.1 on each. burped a 155.7, can play music at a 153, not too bad
Pics of the civic? and install?

You would think Bob Ps van would be able to Bassrace a higher score than a 163... At that high note, with a ported box and that much power it just doesnt seem that impressive.

Look at Tommy. Hes got around most likely around 35,000rms and a sealed box and if he really cranked it up could break a 160 in Bassrace on a song with a 40hz note. I just dont see how 180k watts in a ported Superstreet wall playing a higher note doing low 160s in Bassrace when theres people with so much less doing so much more.

Even Frankies install is more impressive, imo. It could Bassrace a 159... Maybe a little more if he tweaked some things. And thats 12 ported 12s on right around 24,000rms. Keep in mind the song is Beats 4 My Van, so its making those numbers at crazy low notes.

The loudest ive heard is a 90 somenthing escort that my local stereo shop has. Their running two memphis 4kw's at 16 volts to two memphis mojo 15's in a wall. It done around 155.5 to 156 but they kept blowing the mojo's and im not sure what they are running now but it still does in the 156 range.

Bob burps 53 hz and Bass Races with songs in the 40-50 hz range. Doesnt seem like a high note to me.

If you heard it in person, you will be very impressed. It hurts outside the van when its all sealed up.

this ny guy called rodney boom back in 1991 0r 1992 i have yet heard a all around car system that you heard from 2 or 3 city blocks he had 2 18 inch redlines in the seat and 4 tens in rear deck bullet tweeters i think 4 and one or two real zues amps it was crazy he use to turn it on and scare the hell out of you you could hear word for word and he use to pull up to the clubs the paladium and shut it down

Truck at a car show, looked like an f450 lifted up real high sponsored by treo, had 4 15's or 18's (I couldn't hear the guy) in a blowthrough running off a lot of power, said he was still breaking the subs in and hadn't got it metered before, but after i got out of the car i got the same feeling i get after smoking weed right before i get high, and my head hurt and i couldn't walk straight and my jaw hurt everytime i ate for 3 days afterwards...

I've sat in loud cars before and this one really felt like it took the cake of my limited experience, if I had to guess his score playing music I'd say 149-151

someone i know had a yukon gt walled off with 12 jlw3 12" sealed run on 4 1507 alpine v12 amps. he was hitting 155 with music. i dont think he ever played any test tones.

I've been in DB Drag cars that do well over 165db during burps ranging from 30-75hz. They hurt, but it's quick. I've done most all of them with my ears uncovered. (Yea, who cares, shut up. Im not deaf! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif)

I've also been in the loudest groundpunders on earth. I've been in Steve Meades truck a couple of times, Pipo Sanchez's truck, Tommy Mckinnie's truck, Scottie Johnson's Van's... blah blah

Tommy McKinnie's truck (24 SE 12's sealed and 12 IA 20.1's) is the loudest "system" there is. It plays MUSIC and trust me, it'll do 160+db doing it. It plays bass in the 20-50hz area... OMFG does it hurt. I have a newspaper article with my wife getting the hair trick in his truck. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
