Asked on the first page, but didn't see an answer. Are you building the box in the trunk? 8cubes seems a lot for the trunk, as I drive an 01. Was just wondering, because I wanted to go with around 6cubes, but wasn't sure about it fitting without being built in the trunk.... BTW, nice equipment.

I have Freud bits so I know that isn't the problem. So, I am going to have to dig the jig saw out of the attic to finish the other port and sub cutout. The round over will have to wait till I either get this one fixed or get a new one. Bought it refurbished off ebay so I'm pretty sure they wont fix it, oh well lesson learned. This WILL be playing tomorrow though. All that is left is finish the cut outs, screw and glue the middle brace in then slap the front on.

Well I finally got it up and playing, box bearly fit in my back door opening. I know this thing has to break in so I'm going to give it a few days. Box is 7.6 cubes after displacement with the pair of 6" aero's. That would be like 9 sqin of port for every cube. I know the rule is 12-16 but I have also read that since aero's are more efficient not as much port is needed.
