Ok, They may **** but for a beginner system they are not bad. The guy asked questions for a beginner system for his girlfriend and something that was cheap. I never said they were the best subs or the loudest but for the money they are not bad for a girl. The only good subs american bass makes are the vfl extremes. Only thing with those are they are competition subs so they are expensive. I think for the money and for a beginner system the xo's and dx's are fine. Sorry that your mr big bad system kills everyone elses.

ehhh i wouldn't say sd2.5's are that much more expensive than xo's.

I'd say go with Pheonix Gold for a starter system, heard nothing but good things about their amps.. know some people that run the subs and u really can't beat the price for the quality your getting

if you get phoenix gold, definitely go with the rsd subs. i've been hearing good things about those subs.
