My g/f wants a decent system for not too much. She doesn't like it crazy loud, just some good bass. The only thing I have is a PA sterling series ten. I thought it would be ok for her but its a 4 ohm sub. She would probably want around 400 or 500 RMS. So I'm looking for a single sub setup, ported. Mach 5 is an option but I think the Maw 12 is a svc 4ohm. Suggestions please. She doesn't want to spend a lot of money and I'm broke as hell. Also, please don't post something stupid like a DD or a IDmax because this isn't an spl or sq setup, just a basic, starter setup. my g/f used to run 2 md sidewinder 12s, there lightweight, dont require much power at all dual 4 ohm voice coils and 300 rms each. I ran 150 watts each to them and could do a 139.9 in bassrace out the trunk. id take 150 for the pair or 80 each.

if that's in her budget. and the maw12 is dual 4ohm vc, but not that it matters with that amp anyway.

Not to mention she'd have room to upgrade if she wanted to get louder....I'd probably have her get a 300 RMS amp to start....if she wants louder, I could flip it. Ok so, Vmax sub. unless I get a better deal. FYI, I don't think I mentioned this, but I want something brand new, that has a warranty...Normally I'd buy used but, shes a girl.....Anyway so what kind of amp for the sub? Good, cheap monoblocks?

If you got the 2ohm VMax you could wire it to 1ohm and power it by one of these ftw.

i have 3 pioneer impp 10's and a quantum audio 200x4 or 400x2 amp for 170 plus shiiping if u still need something cheap and decent

i have a beals brothers 10inch sub that id let u have for 50shipped. its nothing big by any means, single 4ohm

i had to reglue the spider on with gorilla glue but its perfectly fine now
