The do's and dont''s of my first wall....it seems like something isn't right....

Yesterday you were an electrical engineer. The day before that you were a maintenance man. Color me confused.
You know I'm not electrical engineer you know I'm a technician yes I'm electrical im also pneumatic pretty much every ******* system if you actually would understand how things work are electrical and pneumatic ..

its electrically controlled and pneumatically operated.

It's not my fault that y'all don't have enough ******* common sense to understand that electrical and pneumatics go hand-in-hand.

For example if I have a flow meter on a pipeline and I go over 900 PSI it sends a signal to the computer typically 20 milliamp(this is called a current sensing cicirut)to close that valve.. so guess how the valve operates!?

There's another electrical signal that is sent to another smaller acutated valve that actuates pressures pathway in the tubing/valve body(3 way valve)and reverts it to the cylinder that pressure feels the cylinder up pushes a diaphragm and closes the larger valve in the process line.

After doing this for 10 years you kind of ******* God I know both of them when you troubleshooting right not to mention you got to kind of know the logic behind too wouldn't you think ******* **** tards

OH ok....now I fully understand hispls! Thank you for taking the time to draw that out for me. I really appreciate you doing that. Even though it's a simple drawing lol. I actually didn't post the pictures of the box I built. I had to fix my phone ( I repair phones both software and hardware and other electronics)....but yeah i'm trying to upload the pictures now.

Im trying to upload a couple more

I have to do some touch up on the front where the carpet stops on the top, didn't realize that till I looked at the picture lol. And I think i'm going to make a few different inserts for the port. And if I take the port out what would my tuning be and how much port area would it be? The dimensions are 18 tall x 21 wide x 20 deep at the moment.

I bet the port side wall of that box will flex. Keep an eye on that while testing and double layer if needed. Otherwise the box looks good, nice flare.

Port depth should be effectively about 14" with just the thickness of the baffle if two sides of the box's interior make up the port wall.

Here is what the subs "see" as port with one side of the port being the wall of the box. As you see you gain the effective port volume of half the port width cubed (or half a port width more depth than you think).

I'd try without any port insert at all and see how she does. Go easy on

Alright here's an update......a good one! lol.....I went with 252 square inches of port area and 11 square inches of port area per foot and they're alot louder than when I had the port at 180 square inches. I have another question....obviously with this many watts ( i know it's nothing compared to some of you) but is there anything I can do to make them not get warm as quick? Should I turn my gain down a little? I want to be able to play them continuously for about an hour or two without having to worry about the coils getting to hot.

They should get warm, that lets u know the cooling is working... if they are gettin hot then u are clipping and going to burn them up so yea turn the gain down.
