The do's and dont''s of my first wall....it seems like something isn't right....

Yep thats exactly what i was going to do hispls....lol no its not broken....i can definitely smell when they're getting warm lol...i figured if i set my gains with my oscope that i would be sending them a clean signal and they wouldn't start smelling

Do you happen to even have enough power to power your amp?

Oh and something wierd that i noticed....when my car was off, no key in the irgnition i was going to test my amp one more time before i sent it off and i put the allen wrench on the set screw for the positive on the sub output and my whole arm started tingling really bad....this amp has done that since the first day i got it....ive never had an amp do that before....and the allen wrench wasnt touching anything else

That's crazy... Were you standing barefoot in a puddle? That's a new one on me but I'm a noob since I've only worked with around a hundred amps... Some other people install and they have LOTS more experience... Thousands easily!

Is your port finished? Always seems like you **** up when you rush things...why are we setting gains and tweaking the amps when project is not complete? Can't you just throw the gain at 75% and turn up HU...seems like you're 'trying' to do things like a pro, when clearly you are a beginner...

You would only have to worry about frying coils when you're done and tweaking...why would you be cranking on it without being finished? Are all the batteries even in place and wired? The alternator/engine stuff is done? Amp rack done?

Like my sub enclosure is done and I still haven't tested it yet, when I do it's gonna start with a QSC pro audio amp, not my car stuff cuz I won't have proper power supply yet. I just don't get your methods sometimes...keep it simple. Don't keep rushing. You're blowing outputs trying not to fry coils? This train wreck is insanity!!!

Yes the port is finished.....I'll upload what ive done so far....and i opened up my amp and there's no signs of anything being burnt up. It doesnt smell burnt at all...one second and I'll upload some pictures of everything

Nope it's definitely fu cked.....it was reading 9.9 volts....so i shut it off and unhooked it....also one of the subs is blown
Go ahead and check each battery one by one.

You could of easily had a bad battery causing damage.

Also in the amp dont look for burnt marks, look for swollen caps and broken circuit lines on motherboard or even broken connectors to caps and inputs and outputs.
