Ignore him. You can add him to your ignore list, and then his posts won't show up to you.Whats the point in your comment losisatool? When i was posting my progress so far on my false floor amp rack?
Wait, what? I hope you don't mean to fill gaps in the shell with pool noodles. Liquid nails or PL adhesive can do small gaps, otherwise wood is best and bondo and/or fiberglass.I also bought a few pool noodles to fill in the bottom where that gap was.
Yeah since i didn't cut off the brackets for the third row seats there was like a 2 inch gap below the bottom so i shoved a couple in there and put liquid nails around them to seal it up....
I'd start with HPF around 25hz and keep an eye on things. Download some test tones so you can see where the cones start moving too wildly and adjust accordingly.Ok i know it's been a couple days....i got the back piece on and got everything sealed up for the most part....there's still a few spots that i need to fill in because of air leaks, at the moment i have the port at 15 wide x 12 tall x 20 deep....which puts it right around 31hz, and i definitely dont care for 31hz lol....so I'm going to cut it down to 12 inches in depth which puts me at right around 35hz. At the moment they're pretty fuucking loud! Way louder than before and I'm not 100% done sealing it up. I also have to add two more threaded rods for the bracing. If im tuned to 35hz what's the lowest you guys recommend i play down to? Cause i don't want to f uck them up.
