I did see pictures of a 2x4 port...so how stupid do I think you are...? Maybe we'll steer clear of my opinion at this point and focus on the box. Bottom line is you need to do as some others have suggested and seal that ****** up if you want to make it work. In my opinion, the trough (previously referred to as 'cavern') where the bottom half of 2 subs are sitting is a major design flaw, given all the available space. Also, if there are visible holes in the box in photos, how can anyone take you seriously? You're also now trying to get final measurements for proper port tuning and your box doesn't have the whole backing on. Are you just guessing at the internal volume of the box or have you actually done the math to find out? On the program it seems like you're tossing out numbers. What is the gross volume? As you mentioned, your box is not 'square' so did you actually measure the volume of your whole space? (Please refer to gr. 10 mathematics, calculating the internal volume of an irregular object)...
I'm a pretty sarcastic person by nature, and I'm Canadian eh! I'm not trying to give you a hard time, but it seems like you're jumping ahead again. Finish closing up the box...draw it on paper. Take measurements as accurately as possible. Determine it's actual volume OR none of your port calculations will matter. Anyone trying to help with your calculations at this point is going to be frustrated for sure.
As for me, I make mistakes. I had to rip out my l.e.d. lights from the inside of my box because somehow they lost power. I tested them right before I attached my final piece, great...after top piece was attached...nothing. Did I hit it with a screw? Probably. But I still can't see how...so I had to cut them out and redo. We all fuuuuuck up.
What I meant with your back piece is not square as in right angles, I'm down with all shapes and sizes, I just mean there's so many attachment points, I question if the joints will be square or 'flush' is maybe the correct term.
When I made my box, I assembled it entirely with no screws or nails. Each piece was cut as square as possible and joints were flush. I had all the pieces cut and fit before final paint/assemble. This assured a tight fit and 'near perfect' seams. I spent 'a day' on 1 or 2 pieces.
I've spent just about a year on my box/power station (Business, wife, 3 kids) intermittently, and I have yet to power my speaker. All my equipment is gathered from previous builds over 15 years. I've never powered up the Colosus. The Eclipse sub I bought brand new in 2002, used in 2 builds so far...along with my Zeus amps.
This **** takes time.
Closing in that box is priority #1 .
There are some great builds on here, with 2 common themes....time and $$$
