Its the glue. i didn't trim the excess
All the shlt you talk about custom subs and your a sub builder... that picture is like a slap in the face to have your name behind that. Its the glue. i didn't trim the excess the tywraps are extra to hold the leads that are directly soldered to the dual tinsel leads and to keep the wire from getting anywhere near inside the motor.
yea shes ugly right there. i cleaned her up since but shes not a looker. I had the original blinding post but they where such and ***** to get in that tight *** spot plus those blinding post aren't the best conductors. its a prototype so its not really a concern.Lolol
its a prototype with excessive glue. its solid as a rock. 3600 all day and sounds better than every woofer i've owned not the loudest but its definitely not a slouch. All the shlt you talk about custom subs and your a sub builder... that picture is like a slap in the face to have your name behind that.
I don't really give a dam what it looks like. Just laughing at his comment.yea shes ugly right there. i cleaned her up since but shes not a looker. some people never growup. seriously this guy doesn't hold a job and has other people build his ****. hes the biggest poser on this forum.I don't really give a dam what it looks like. Just laughing at his comment.
Hehe see I struck a nerve:laugh:I've built plenty of builds. Just got done making a new center console for my truck.some people never growup. seriously this guy doesn't hold a job and has other people build his ****. hes the biggest poser on this forum.
no i didnt build my drivers from the ground up but i worked back and forth with engineers to try to accomplish the design I WANTED. i could have been like ampere audio and drop some off the shelf **** that isn't impressive one bit or like COUNTlESS other companies that do the same but i took the time and effort and studied motor topologies for years tested so many drivers it not even funny. this one happens to be a **** nice driver that is one of the best sounding drivers i've heard to date! it can also can get into the mid 140s( if done right probably the high 140s low 150s, mines in a midsize car bass trap trunk) with the right power on a DAILY tune that sounded good from creed to muddy waters to techmaster PEB. so hell yea i'm proud even though it isn't exactly my OWN custom tooled woofer it IS MY design and NO its not a copy cat. its different from even the closest sub in dimensions, they are different via the coil and cone as well as the motor..
