I just went and looked up your situation. You posted a reply that was nothing more than a link to how to convert DVD's. That is a typical reply a spambot uses, and frankly, I would have probably assumed you were a spambot also. Clearly you aren't a bot, but you emulated one to a T. So if it was an honest mistake by dragon to ban you, then that's all it was.

The more you guys return with AE's, the more amusing this becomes for the rest of us. For like the next 6 months, when someone says "butthurt" around here, people will think of juancolchado and coma toast. Nice legacy you left behind here guys. If you want to promote your forum, I suggest doing via positivity for your site, not negativity for other ones. And having the staff members from your site start acting like adults would be another good change of pace.

Prove to us that your site is so awesome, by going there, and populating it yourselves.

These guys will do their best to make a scene for a while, because they are particularly butthurt right now that we didnt let them run rough shot over this forum, but they will grow tired of spinning their wheels here, move on, and fade into obscurity before long. No, what transpired here is exactly what i just said above. They tried to take advantage of us, they tried to take advantage of our patience, but they pushed too far and are now butthurt because they finally got called on it.
As for this is the dome, yes the dome is lenient (probably more than it should be), but just like being a paid vendor, that does not give anyone the right to continuously break rules and ignore warnings from the staff to stop. We want to be fair here, we try to be fair here, but we can only allow so much. For example, if we were 'gestapo', we wouldn't allow you to voice your negative opinion here. But we do allow you to, because we have nothing to hide. So go ahead and take your pot shots, I think the members here have seen enough to know the truth about this situation.

Now, to the nitty gritty,..

We were told to get a vendors status to advertise the site,.. ok, done.

Thread goes up titled: "www.soundpressurelistings.com" in the vendors section and bam,.. flamefest. We had actually done the stupid thing and bought into the idea that if the thread were to go south (just as we expected it would from page 1) that the mods would step in to enforce the rules that you so diligently uphold,.. but no, we get mot stating something about not joining that p.o.s. site,.. so before you go saying we were on the negative from the get-go, remind yourself by reading that thread and observe that we were testing the waters not only with the members, but the moderation staff, also.

N/m the fact that a genuine interest and execution of vendor status was in the works,.. if anyone is at fault for how things turned out, i would really have to say the moderation team was in derilection of duty. Notice how juan wouldnt delete or mod that thread?

Who am I to judge? One, Im a moderator of this site, its part of my responsibility to be a part of these types of situations. And two, my name has been dragged into this, personally, with insult after insult, and at least one bold faced lie about me and my integrity. I think that's plenty to give me reason to speak. Now, who are YOU to stick YOUR nose in this? Im not saying you have no right to express your opinion, but if you are going to suggest I have no right to judge, when its part of my responsibility here, then I think I have the right to flip that question on you.

Your problem isn't with the site, but specific people in it? Honestly at this point, I dont really care what 'your' problem is. But for the sake of fairness, I will still answer you. Creating a sig that says 'tired of unethical people on this site, then come to ours!' (paraphrasing because I dont remember the exact wording) is most definitely having a problem with this site. Defamation, clearly. Next, even the specific accusations Juan and SPLC made were either completely unfounded, or a flat out lie. Example one, the claim by one of them that whitedragon was protecting his 'butt buddies' and implying he was doing it in an unethical manner, came with ZERO facts. Second example, claiming I went to CACO, was disruptive, and subsequently banned, is a flat out lie. So again, why should I care at this point what your problem is, what juan's problem is, or what coma's problem is? Both of them have proven to be unreasonable, unethical, and liars.

As for your nitty gritty, one of the 'perks' of being a vendor is they are given moderator status for their sub-forum. I dont even go there. For all I know, if I poked my nose in Juan's sub forum and started enforcing rules, Id be accused of being in their business. SPL.com's $40 vendor payment does not give them some sort of right to 'test' the mod staff here. If they didnt want to control their own sub-forum, they should have considered that before agreeing to do so. Or did Juan think he had mod powers on his sub-forum because we didnt expect him to use them?

If Juan wanted to delete or modify any portion of that thread, he had the power to do so. He didnt, but now you want to come here after the fact and claim we mods should have been doing it. I have no 'duty' in the vendor sub-forums in which you can judge my actions, or inactions, as derelict. I suggest you know more about this situation before YOU pass judgement.

As for SPL.com/Juan's "genuine" interest in executing a vendor status here, his words and actions prove otherwise. I read with my own eyes where he said he didnt plan on staying here more than the month he'd already paid for (before this shit hit the fan), and his repeated attempts to defame this site in order to promote his, suggest his interest was something less than genuine.

Lastly, if we truly were the 'gestapo' mods we've been called by these guys, we wouldn't even be having this discussion. Again, we have nothing to hide, so even your negative opinions on the situation are allowed to be expressed here, wrong as they may be.
