temp sub build question

ok so all teh rest of my subs are coming in in about a week or so, and im debating getting deadener. i know i need it, but its if i need it now (ive just used more money than i would have liked) or if i can wait a few months. basically, id only get it now if my car was ratteling enough to bother me. I already made my sub box. (for two type r's) can i just put in the one type r i already have gotten, cover the whole for the other 12 coming in, and test it out? (just to see if it rattles)

also, ive gotten my comp amp but not my sub amp, could i use my comp amp to test out my sub?

yes no problem Lots of people build a box for two when they can afford the second one. Keep in mind you are doubling your cone size so it will be louder with the second one. I don't have any deadener in mine. Bose when they put the system originally in my car they have a type of deadener installed already. spray foam is a nice inexp deadener to.

that amp can safelty run my sub for a few hours though? (just the sub, not the components also it will run in the end)
