The FR of all brazilian amplifiers is not flat compared to korean amplifiers.
So if we took a 1000w korean and 1000w brazilian amplifier, wired them the same, the korean amplifier would have more output power and headroom.
As with brazilian, the FR rolls off in the lower range which also drops headroom as well.
Giving a much flatter FR controlled by the DSP, it prevents headroom loss which means the amplifier will not clip as fast when used for subwoofers.
As far as i know, only Taramp's DSP and Soundigital EVO line are the flattest FR from brazil right now.
Stetsom might have a line like this but i have no data to confirm it.
Many users know of the roll off in the lower range but in doing so loses headroom and output power. This can be somewhat overcome by maintaining high DC voltage but the limitation is still there.
It's not as pronounced with the larger HD models since they are more powerful, of course, but watt for watt, DSP solves the issue.
I can say the bass-only amplifier line has an FR rating down to 8hz but there is no deviation rating for it's FR yet.
I know DSP deviation is -1db and HD models are -3db.
