Looking to get a pretty sick setup going. I've had a few systems in the past, got frustrated, went back to stock, now I'm back for more....
Budget: About $1400.....I can make the enclosure/install I already have power/RCA/wire...
Goal: Club sound
Music Type: Metal, rock, alternative...this system needs to be tighter than a frogs ***
Basics: I'm thinking a sick 3-way setup, 8's in the doors, 6.5/tweet in a kick with custom crossovers. I'm undecided on the sub. I'd love to try a 15" supersub with 2kw or so in a small sealed enclosure.
I can break the budget a bit and use an LOC for a while if I have to......
The amps are the only thing thats non negotiable. I will be unsing PG xenon amps. I had a 200.4 and it was by far the sickest amp I have EVER used. HPF/LPF on all channels....1-4 ohms and it will put out its RMS.....dual 4 gauge power/ground input....and the X's on that thing are actually "clicks" (ie one click=42 hz) so they are exact...not to mention the SQ on that thing.
I want a system with INSANE output......ear shattering....
I'm open to suggestions since I have failed in previous attempts.
