system problem

well last weekend i took out my radio to fix the heater area which is above the radio. the only thing that i disconnected was the heater controls and the radio and speaker cables from the wiring harness. after realizing it was a bigger problem than i felt like dealing with i put everything back. the next day i go to play my radio and my sub is not playing. at first i thought oh shit my system was stolen again but then i realized that wasnt possible so i figured i must of just didnt plug someting up. after unpluging and pluging everything back together it still doesnt work. i checked everything and just cant figure out what the problem is. the amp is turning on fine and isnt going into protection, my sub isnt blown or anything, and the speaker cables are fine. does anyone have any possible ideas of what can be wrong. any ideas are welcomed. thanks a lot.

what kinda cd player do u have? might be that u have to turn it on since u disconnected everything it resets itself check if u can turn on ur subs in the menu on ur cd player.

its an alpine and yea i turned it on and checked all those areas

So, your other speakers are playing? Its just the sub that youre having trouble with?

yes everything is playing except the sub and i know the subs not the problem because i hooked up another sub and it didnt work either. and my amp isnt going into protection and is turning on just fine so i dont see how that would be the problem either

are your door speakers amped? if so, connect that amp to ur sub n c if it works, if it does.. it might be the amp or one of the channels in ur headunit for the RCA preout is fukt
