System for Hair Tricks

you can shake other cars and get a ticket and dirty looks lol. but in all seriousness..your going to have a really hard time getting any decent bass out of a soft top jeep it doesnt take very much to "shake the car beside you" though.. ive seen best buy systems do that but doesnt mean it sounds good..

you'll have a hard time getting help with that being your goal though to be honest.. bein irresponsible with your stereo is what gets the rest of us a hard time for having and makes it harder to find places to have shows cause of sound laws from..people doing exactly what your asking

i dont have the soft top..i have the hard top lol, does that make a difference?
it'll def help.

personally. it sounds like your not mentally ready to have a 140 plus system on your hands.

you kinda sound like one of the guys that think the gain is a volume knob and that its cool to **** people off.

which is part of the reason people hate cars that have nice sound systems in them.

what you need to do is some research on what it takes to make a loud daily system that has the capability to really do some damage. and it wouldnt hurt to grow up a little and realize what the sport is all about.

that said. a hair trick with 10s is going to be next to impossible. unless your running a lot of them of course. and as far as getting anything real out of that jeep talk to LA-crx if he hasnt died. he is getting 150s out of a soft top wrangler iirc.

I give up.

Good luck I guess
You should give up on giving advice until you can learn to actually give good advice and learn to be polite. This is not the Dome this is the tech section so get it right or get out.

For the OP, with your room while keeping the seats you will not get a crazy amount of sound out of it. Doing the idea of multiple 8s is a good option, but the port area will take up to much area in most cases. I would go with a single 10 or 2 8s and just do a down firing ported enclosure. If you chose to lose the back seat then you can get a good deal of sound/volume out of it and you will have a ton of space to play with.
