System design question JVC and Fosgate combo

i recently purchased a '68 mustang with a JVC sytem installed. it is a JVC KD-AVX40 headend with fosgate primer 300-4 amp. the system is currently wired as follows:

output from headend is labeled rear line out. this is connected to the front and rear inputs on amp. all four speakers are connected to front and rear spkr terms on amp like they should be. with this setup there is no fader control frt to rear. there is too much sound on rear. i tried adjusting frt and rear gain on amp but that tends to screw up the sound quality. both gains are set at max for best sound quality. head end does have seperate spkr outputs so should i maybe disconnect frt spkrs from amp and connect to headend frt spkr output? that bypasses amp for front of course but will it matter?

this seems like a really lame way to setup a fairly expensive system.

any ideas or suggestions appreciated.

Umm WOW you need to work on your typing skills as I can barely understand what you are asking. But I will take a stab at it.

Your radio only has a Rear preout and a mono sub preout. So you have no fading from your radio. You will need to turn up (higher voltage input) on the rear channel to get the rear a little quieter. Setting a gain to MAX has nothing to do with SQ. The gains should NOT be all the way up. The amp accepts inputs from 8v to 250ma. Your radios claims 2.5v preouts but it is more likely a 1v peak on music. This can be verified with a DMM. But set your front gain to the 1v mark and the rear to 1.5v to 1.25v input and your issue should be solved.

i won't comment on your rude remark about typing.

if i set gain for rear higher than front wouldn't that make the rear louder than the front? i tried playing with gains before asking my question and a rear gain higher than front gain makes rear speakers louder.
