From what I've read its rated at 1 ohm but not recommended
I'm not sure what subs your running but can you change it to 2 or 4 ohms and see if it still happens?
Just so you know I'm not just pulling this out the air here is a quote from an advertisement for the amp

The ad says, "under the rated one ohm load." So, .67 or ½ ohm load is not recommended.

For the record I have a SAZ 3000D that I tried to run at 0.5ohm and it did the same thing.
It played for about a month and then stopped
When I switched the subs out and ran it at 1 ohm it was fine.

I'm at the rated one ohm load.

If the lights are anything like Taramps they should tell you in the owners manual what's wrong based on what the lights are doing. If you are over 15.5 volts it's voltage protected.

We figured it out with the multimeter. It was a loose wire at the fuse holder by the battery. It's fixed.

From all I've read and heard is that you shouldn't run them at 1 ohm.i have the same amp, the sfb 3000 an a 500.4. I got the same result as you do. Changed to 2 ohms an all is well.

It's rated and recommended to run at one ohm.

Hey, you may want to check for any loose wiring, especially around the fuse holder

It played great for two weeks. I'm not sure how the wire loosened itself up.
