Has anyone suggested checking for a loose wire... perhaps by the battery. Pretty common with full bridge amps.

My guess is your gain is too high. If you slowly increase the gain, does the clip light slowly become more solid?
All of these amps can be seen surviving their minimum rated impedance on the amp dyno. It's sketchy but they should do it. If you have DCR 1 ohm load or greater on these amps and they break it's a manufacturing defect and Sundown will definitely take care of you.It's rated and recommended to run at one ohm.
