Shit happens. Vibration, heat/cold, etc

Probably all of the deep bass loosened it up!

Has anyone suggested checking for a loose wire... perhaps by the battery. Pretty common with full bridge amps.

My guess is your gain is too high. If you slowly increase the gain, does the clip light slowly become more solid?

It was a loose wire in the fuse holder by the battery. It's all fixed now.

It's rated and recommended to run at one ohm.

All of these amps can be seen surviving their minimum rated impedance on the amp dyno. It's sketchy but they should do it. If you have DCR 1 ohm load or greater on these amps and they break it's a manufacturing defect and Sundown will definitely take care of you.

I miss read the paperwork
I'm sure its fine at 1ohm
I only said something because I had a similar problem with my sundown but that was at 0.5 ohm so...
Glad the problem was something simple and you got it fixed
