suggestion on gettin a battery terminal??

I got 2 awg wire..15 ft long to go to my battery. DO i need to get a battery terminal i hook it up to the battry or can i just buy a ring for the end and crimp it on??? If so what size do i need and all.

Also waht is the differnec between a positve and a negative battery terminal (besides the obvious)??

You can get terminals that are made to support two seperate wires. They are more sturdy than a crimp ring.

I don't believe thatt there is a difference.

They are just pieces of metal...so yes.

The positive and neg aren't the same

The negitive is made with a special metal element to stop alternator whine

no i'm just kidding ------------------ BUT they are different sizes.

I forget which but one battery post is slightly smaller than the other so that mean the clamps don't work on the wrong post
