sub

0.89cuft is the cuft on the box he linked. Your .508cuft too much for these PG subs. If the box is sealed which it looks like it is. These subs like 0.382cuft a piece.

 
That's why they are bottoming out. Too much space for them. Just put some wood or something in the box to make it smaller. Then it should be very nice for them.

 
Yeah he has the 10" RsdC. Same exact subs I have. Maybe your looking at the 12" specs? Still not 1.25cuft though.

box is way way way too small they need at least 1.25 each sealed dude lolz prefabs **** just for this reason lol they are bottoming out and it will destroy the former stop using it til u get a good box.
Increasing the box size will make them easier to bottom out, not harder.

I think the obvious answer is turn the gain down until they stop making the popping noise.

 
yep, I just thought he had the 10's. Very nice subs. Mine never did the popping noise like how he's getting. I push mine pretty hard as well.

Can't wait for the new Phoenix Gold products to come out in the spring.
