Sub specs help???

Ok so I have an Audiobahn 8002v amp rated at 800 watts rms x 1 @ 4 ohms

so an alpine type r dual 4 ohm sub would be fine???

or what should the ohms be on my sub or subs??

2ohms ur amp 1 ohm stable

the manual says 2 ohms stable

200 watts x 2 @ 4 ohms rms

400 watts x 2 @ 2 ohms rms

800 watts x 1 @ 4 ohms rms

ok so if i want to get the 400 x 2 i need a 4 ohms subs???

and if i want to do the 800 x1 i need a 2 ohm sub???

oh just match up the numbers?

You get 800 X 1 @ 4 ohms bridged.

so get a 4 ohm sub for 800x1

and 2 ohms subs for 400X2?

you would either get a dual 2 sub or a SVC 4 sub.

2+2 = 4 4 = 4
