Sub Size For Rock/Techno SQ?

For mostly rock and techno (once in a while a little rap) what would give the best SQ but still be loud? I was thinking of grabbing an SAZ-1000D with two SA 8 D4s. Then double them if I wanted louder down the road.

I like my RE SE, but it just doesnt seem active enough, or quite loud enough, especially with rock/techno. Its taking 750w @ 2ohm from a Kenwood amp. Im getting a reall good amount of money for it, the amp and box, so Im starting fresh.

Im a noobie, and not sure which sub size or brand has better SQ for the music I listen too though.

Going in a 2010 Nissan Rogue, its a lease so got to be stock charging (could probably get away with the Big 3 if needed).

Space is a concern. I dont care how tall the box/s are, but they cant be that long or wide. The back seat is split folding, I keep the one seat behind the drive up and fold down the passanger and middle section. Id like the box to fit behind the one seat thats up, maybe a little wider if needed. Ill get a pic in a bit, and try to measure.

Budget is not set in stone, but Id say around the $600 mark if I stretch out over a couple months, but cheaper would be better. Trying to find a good used amp for $200ish in the classifieds.

Never built a box before, but Ill get to that when it comes.

Would two SA 8s in 1.5c/ft at 34hz be good? I really have no idea.

Thats the space I have. The box I have now doesnt fit long ways how I want, and it blocks off a lot of the cargo room I need.

Just got two new SA 10 D2s on the forums here. Looks like Ill be getting a PA P2250D to power them, probably run 1500rms .5ohm.

Will my stock Rogue handle it?

Either that or a low tuned box that keeps the kick drum away form the group delay that occurs with ported enclosures.

Would a 2.5 cu/ft 32hz box work if its more of a tall but short length box?
