DC XL 18 on Crescendo 3k?

It will easily handle it on a burp...daily, you are probley on the higher end of its capabilities

This thing is going to be for daily, I just want to push it as hard as I can. It's in 6 cubes @ 36hz if that makes a difference cause I know smaller boxes help handle more power.

You can't always count on that...music is dynamic.....and at certain points that sub will be seeing 3K+ if wired to 1ohm and also depends on OP's voltage

not yet, building the box this weekend and will hopefully be buying in about 5 weeks after my 2512 sells.

By the time I'm putting 3k to it I'll be running 3 Deka G31's in the back and a 250a alt.

Chances of the sub seeing 3k once the gains are set properly, are slim. A second here and there will not hurt that sub. The xl gets burped with 5k all the time. 3k every blue moon is not going to hurt it.

I believe they share all soft parts, jut the motor is a mini 5, but bigger than the 4.

Why not go with 3 12's.....same airspace, more surface area.....more db on same power.
