Sub signal not sent out through RCAs

So this is a bit confusing, my head unit sends the front speaker and sub signals through the rcas through the front rca outputs. The sub rca output on the head unit does not send out any signal whatsoever. Somehow i am still able to set gain and stuff on sub or amp 1(front speakers) with the correct wiring i did. Is this a setting with the headunit

yes, turn the sub on in the headunit settings

I found it, it was a control on the amp, the iq series has the ability to combine all rca signals into one
