Sub rattle??

Yes, I was out playing around with my car today and I noticed there is a rattle coming from the sub. It seems to be coming from behind the dust cap. The dust cap is not loose but there is a rattle that is present during most notes. What are the possible reasons for this? Sub and amp are listed in my sig. Sub is still under warranty so I am not to concerned but would like to know what the issue is before I call the manf.

could be a unglued spider or a cracked spider , also debris could have made its way thru the vent in the pole piece if that sub has one. i didn't look at the siggy

voice coil rub? Take the sub out and inspect spider, see it it's not unglued

play it free air and see if you can pinpoint where the sound is

Take it out of the box, check the spider, leads etc. then check if there's any air coming out around the dustcap when it's hooked up (my omega has done this)

first make sure the sub is screwed in tight to the box a lil air leak will make that sound.

if still there as said above play freeair and look for mechy problems such as broken tripple joint,ripped spider or unglued spider...

Thx guys it was just alil lead slap going on. Pulled some of the lead out of the inner loop and outer loop and the sound has gone away.
