I am currently running a single dc audio xl spl10d2, its spl is 85.9 and an fs of 41.7. I am going replace it with a pair of mb quart pwe302s(d2 12 inch subs) which have an spl of 90, and an fs of 30. The amp I am using is a 3rd gen incriminator audio ia20.1. On the mb's it will be a 2 ohm load. My question is; will the higher sensitivity, larger cones, and lower fs help compensate for halving the power from the amp?
