Just pulled it out. One voice coil as soon as you move it it jumps to 30ohms. The other jumps to 11ohms. Not sure what they should read during movement
The resistance is constantly changing while the coil is in motion... Are you sure your wiring was all tight an none of the wires fell off while installing? As he stated take a good look at your leads

Wiring was all good. I even pulled the sub out, checked the connections and reinstalled it. And again the new sub was MOVING, the used one barely moved. Actually looked like the new one was using it as a passive radiator.

They each have their own airspace, sharing a port.

That would be a function of the harness, not the HU, I think. Have you looked into a Maestro or iData interface? i would check with crutchfield...
