Sub problem

pull the other driver, and swap sides..if the problem moves, it's the sub.... if it stays on that side, it's not //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

no impedance measurement yet? cause, if that checks out the only other thing i can think of would be a short in the speaker wire (which you've already checked) or a problem at the amp terminals (is the subs are wired to the amp individually).

SOMEONE???? Had this "EXACT"problem 2 days ago on this forum and it was the wiring..It was an MTX sub I remember and the Wiring was reversed on one sub..Search it!
Yup that was me!!!

DONT look at the terminas for the wires on the sub, look at the wires themselves(red/black) that go to the coil. Mtx had swapped mine on one coil not the other.

Hook your wires up to the amp, then touch em to one coil.(+/-) The sub should jump up. Test both sides if one side jumps down, the poparity is ****ed.

Thats what I did and found the prob.
