Sub problem... Due to cold?

Hey,

It's been below 0 degrees for the past few days here, and today when i tested out my sub, I noticed it was acting really weird. Basically it was still loud, but not to the point it usually is, and the bass sounded airy like not a lot of pressure.

I hadn't listened to it in a few days since i was sick so I just thought it was that, but I tried again when I got off work tonight, and it did the same thing... not as loud as normal, and I dunno if ya'll understand this but it sounded more like the air comming out the port, instead of bass

maybe cuz the air inside the car is not as flexible, that happens when its cold also, could explain not being as loud

cold air is more dense....could affect the way the sound waves move through the vehicle of the performance of the subwoofer. What u mean off -topic

It's been very cold here too. I tend to baby my system in this kind of weather until it has ample time to warm up. I have too much invested into this to be stupid. I havn't played my system very loud for a few days. It will be above freezing soon and then I wll let her rip! Yes indeed the cold does do funny things. I would rather be safe than sorry.
