is there a major differnece if u face a sub towards the license plate or on an angle facing the trunk lid or face the passengers??

Yes.

Its best to try the different positions yourself and judge whats best to you as every specific vehical has different acoustic qualitys.

Generally firing towards the rear is the best.

it may may not change the way the sub sounds. for me, i like it when facing towards the licenseplate . Some people like it facing the cabin cuz you "feel" te bass more

or you can be a pimp and put it through your rear deck and seal the rest of it off... like me

i'm think of facing it to the front just so i don't get as much rattle will u hear the sq better this way

well if you face toward the front you could get a REALLY good response if you put pieces of wood and caulking in there (if you have extra) to seal the baffle of the box from the rest of the trunk

uhhh not so much

it removes cancellation because it stops air to be compressed/rarefied into the trunk area so more pressure is inside the cabin of the car
