Troubleshooting 1230W Infinity Reference 12"

I have a 12" 1230W Infinity Reference sub sitting in my attic right now. I had it in my Jeep for a while, but it quit. I swapped it out. I was off work today and it was too hot to do anything else, so I brought it down and started tinkering with it. For the life of me I can't figure out why this thing won't play. I wired it up to my home audio system and I got one little bump out of it, then nothing. That was the only sound I've gotten out of it in the last year. All the connections look good, I guess I could undo them all and re-solder them? Any other ideas?

i had that problem with a couple of mine. If i remember correctly, hook them up to like a home stereo, and play something, but not really loud at all. When no sound comes out, push the tinsel leads in and wiggle them different directions, eventually you should find a place where the speaker plays. Then either pull the lead out and resolder or just straight up resolder.

I'll play around with the lead-ins a bit more and see if I can get anything out of it. I was just trying to get it to work so I could give it to my sister. She wants a sub in her car and I have this one laying around and I also have an Autotek 350SS amp laying around, so I thought it would be perfect - if I can get the sub to work. If not, I'll just grab something off eBay.
