its really hard to beat the apsm 1500 for $123 brand new for the price and since your getting a battery anyways, its just me, whereevery you ask, the only ones that does not like apsm are the ones who never owned one. even reviews on vminnovations is 4.5 out of 28 reviews if you have an extra battery which you will need anyways you will be set and you only spend $123 on an amp. they are also strappable so if you ever wanted to go big 2 apsm will give you at least 2k or 2500

I've installed a APSM-1500 in one of my best friend's cars. It's trash. TaylorFade clamped one doing under 500 watts before distorting.

Something like a Kicker ZX or Alpine MRP 1000 should be fine on stock electrical. You won't need a battery but you will not have an adjustable SS filter or phase control.
What do you mean? If you have a big amp that puts out over 1000 you can't use the subsonic filter unless you have an extra battery? I'm bout to be buying an American Bass VFL 80 to run in my Camry with the only electrical upgrades being 0 gauge ofc big 3 and a 4 gauge ofc amp kits plus a kinetic battery under the hood. Is that not enough and I still need an extra battery?

Those amps do not have those features. They are more efficent running at 2ohms though, not a lot better the the AB or equivelant but enough you should not need any more electrical support. I would guess you have a 100 amp alternator so 1000 watts will max you out. Set the gains correct and don't drive the amp into clipping and it will be good to go. If your Camry is like most Toyotas you only charge at 13.6-13.8 so you won't see full power out of any amp unless you get a JL Slash or HD, both of those require support.
