sub noise

hey all i have alil problem...i have 2 eight inch subwoofers seal in a box ....but one sub makes a fart noise one its pounding....i thought it was both of them but i un pluged them both and notice it was only one...its not that noticable noticable...but knowing its there it bothers me...should i send them back to re and try to fix them or wat??? thanks for the help!!!

visually inspect the surround, cone, everything. If it makes you feel better, send it back and have them check it out. I know that's what I'd do if that happened to me, I tend to be anal about the smallest things as well.

Does your box have any leaks?

eaither your box is leaking, or the cone has a hole in the glue (most likely) you can eaither send it back (warranty?) or try your luck with some glue.

is it a common chamber box or seperate chambers?

where should i put the glue....and its seperate chambers...i really doubt its leaking cause it was all chalked inside

run a new bead of liquid nails all the way inside the box, see if that does anything to help. If it doesn't, you have an issue with your sub, one that might be fixed by sending it back to RE.
