sub noise

hello

my subs are making a weird noise. it is like a squealing noise. as soon as i turn my car u can hear it. even with the vol at 0. is there something i can do to get rid of it? but my real question is will it hurt my subs?

how are u certain that its ur subs?....maybe its your alternator

well im not sure. cause i have had them in 2 different cars and in both they make the same noise. i just want to know if it will damege them.

your amps draw is pretty big, so its most likely your alternator.....its taking a shit

well no because if it is indeed your alternator, it will die out very soon and you will be stranded on the side of the road ......

dude your alternator! NOT SUBS......ur acting like the subs are more inportant then the alternator in your friggin car.......first start up your car and pop the hood and listen to see if it really is ur alt.....then go to ur trunk and get a close listen to your subs.....FIRST SEE WHAT THE NOISE REALLY IS COMING FROM
