sub just quit working

ok hello everyone

i have a pair of 12in memphis subs im not 100 percent on model

but anyways

i had these subs and they worked then i took them out of my car. About 6 months later i went back to put them in my car again and they didnt work . they wont do anything.

i know they werent over powered rms on them is like 600 watts rms and i was running 400 watts ti each.

i also know its not my amp because i had tried another set of my sbs and they worked.

anybody know whats wrong with em

Got a dmm?? Did u check the wiring inside of box to make sure nothing came lose?

sounds like a broken lead somewhere, maybe at the coil

i know its not the wiring in the box and a lead could have broke by just sitting?

whats dmm the coil mean sorry new here lol

stick a multimeter to the sub terminal and get the ohm reading from them. if its a 4 ohm anything from 3.4-4.4 , 2 ohm is 1.4-2.4 give or take a couple tenths.

U can get them at lowes/depot for 10-15 bucks of course they have better ones but a cheap one will do.

when put the multimeter on the sub terminals it dosent move it stays at .1
