Sub hits harder with only one RCA plugged in?

Well I noticed that my subs seems to hit hard then get a little lower so I changed the ground and it still did it....I kinda jiggled the rca's and it hit hard and then low again.. I then took one rca out of the amplifer and it now hits hard all the time? Anybody got any idea of what the problem is? Is it ok to leave the RCA's like that ?

well I switched around the one rca and it give a funny rummble type sound when the music is playing and the other one plays great on both sides left and right...... so bad rca's?

swap them also at the deck to make sure its not the deck. If the "rumble" moves to the other channel of the RCA then its the deck. If the same channel is bad, then its the RCA

either a busted RCA or a busted channel in the amp that happened to me in my old truck

cant be the amp, both channels play fine with one of the RCA's and the one RCA channel makes a rumble on both amp channels. Its either the RCA or something before it (the deck)

brand new pioneer double din dvd player pretty sure its not that the rca's are about 3 years old though

Rcas are bad for sure man, had this exact thing happen to me last night with my mids amp, speakers were super quiet, take a turn while driving and they would kick on loud again, back and forth, sounded like shit

Went back to the amp, powers/ground/speaker connections were all good n tight, wiggled the rcas and the wire moved inside the endcap, the wire inside had broken off its solderred female connector, loked like shitty solderring. Completely pulled tghat set of rcas and added a "y" cable and split the signal from another amp and it worked perfect again

$10 KNU Krystal rcas. Easy fix
