sub for Kicker ZX1500.1?

i am planning of picking up a kicker ZX1500.1 and i don't know what sub to get. i don't want to go below the 2 ohm rating (even though i hear they can take it). i really like the TC-3k but that is a quad 1.4 ohm. i was thinking of trying out the Audioque HD3 also. i have never used a "SPL sub" but from what i hear, i think i will like the sound. any suggestions you guys think i would like?

to narrow it down, it needs to be a 12" or less. box space is 2 cubes max (net). i would like to spend no more than $400. music, i listen to mostly rap and rock.

fiq? but i guess you are looking into spl, so not sure what would be good off that many watts?

i have always been an SQ guy, but i have been getting into louder single sub set-ups lately. recently i had a xxx, then the JL, mag, and now i'm back to the JL. i think the AQ sub is my best bet though, since the TC doesn't work with this amp.
