Sub for apartment

Any recommendations? I'm not against putting a kit together either. I saw the link to the Dayton 10" but that is a bit too much jack (not you Frost). Does anyone make a decent 8" and are they even worth it? This will be mostly for music but some movies too.

You got room for a HUGE enclosure? There were plans in a mag I was reading for a giagantic folded horn that used a $30 8" driver. Looked like a fun thing to build.

Room is not a problem; keep in mind though that i've never built one before so a prefab kit would be better.
