Hi,

I have 1 GZPW - XQ 5kW Rms in my car in a box that can accomodate 2 with a 8 Inch Air Port.

The guys who put the subwoofer in my car decided to just put it in my trunk facing the door. Now i have tremendous Doorshake as it's firing directly on the door.

If i face the Sub upwards i have a panel of speakers directly above it, but lets say if those speakers weren't there, would it be safe to have the sub fire at the roof?

What's your suggestion?

Safe? Sure, why not.

You mention the 'door'... do you mean the hatch? Its likely to rattle even if the sub isn't firing directly into it (albeit with less intensity). My recommendation would be to address the rattles directly, via sound deadening and possibly strategic use of adhesive foams.
