yikes... my initial install in the audi was my two type-x's which were in a really deep box, which only had an inch or so from the rear tailgate, and they rattled the HELL out of the tailgate, i'd deaden your trunk.

and i've heard you're supposed to have the width of the port between the rear of the car and the box.

Seems like it wouldn't always be true for a port that big, since the air velocity will no doubt be very slow, but that's just what i've read.

he can do that if he wanna lose low and only be able to play to woofers with the seats down.... in other word.... i wouldnt, i would do another box before i did that IMO

so why not just turn it around and face the forward since the box is so big?

a lot of people find they lose output that way.

yeah ive heard facing forward isnt a good idea.......

i have damplifier pro for my whole trunk

your best bet would be to face them forward, and seal off the trunk around the face of the box the best you can.

loss of output when facing forward is from the backwave bouncing off the back of the car, and then reversing phase

i have to aggree face them to the back of the seats. youll need the ports width in distance from where ever panel is in front of it as a minimum. if not performance is being limited. and not sound the way the enclosure was design to sound like. it will still sound good. but not to its best.
