SUB DISTORTS

HEY
when my car is in accesory mode the subs play perfect but once i turn the car on, the sub sounds like its distorting/ humming noise.
any idea what could cause this?

It's known as "engine noise" always check your grounds first, as it's the easiest fix, but it can be anything from a cheap amp to badly grounded rca outs on your headunit
