Hoping someone can help me out here... im looking to build a 12" woofer based on a tc sounds 3hp ferrite motor (was previously an LA storm x1). Im looking into a building a woofer that will handle 4,000w daily for music. My concern is if I can fit a coil in there that will handle the power on music, and if it will cool properly. Motor specs...

Gap OD- 3.385"

Pole OD- 2.933"

Top plate height- 1.41"

Motor height from bottom to top plate- 4.255"

Pole extends 0.6" above top plate

Pole vent is 1.375" diameter

Can anyone recommend me some coil dimensions? Would likely use a aluminum flat wound coil unless someone advises other. not sure on basket, if I can repair my cracked tc3k/storm style basket i will likely use it. but not opposed to using 12 spoke either.

Before i get too far ahead of myself, anyone think using this motor (or a 3hp in general) would not be the greatest idea?
