Sub Bottoming Out?

Mods, sorry if this is posted in the wrong forum.

Alright I have a Lanzar Vibe 12 (I know its not good) running off a Pioneer 5500T 820w in an Atrend BBox, when I turn the vol up to about 84/100 itll make a "bahh" vibration noise, and especially during Bass, I Love You it does this at 60/100. Could it just be bottoming out? Or is the small unvented Atrend meeting its limits? The sub is rated to 1600w (ha rightttt) it also did this running off my old 400w (150rms) Dual. also if it matters, the hu is a Jensen HD5215 and the wiring is 8awg.

I think he said its sealed.

Op take the sub out and check it out. Something similar happened to me, turned out the spider had disconnected. Could also just mean that sub is on the way out. May be time to replace.

Song probably goes too low for what your box/sub can handle.

Duh small unvented didn't click in my mind sorry. Still if it's a small sealed inclosure it shouldn't bottom out. The roll off should prevent that from happening. If he has a sub filter and not insanely overpowering it the song shouldn't be that much of a factor. I like the spider being a prob never would think of that one.
