Sub Blown :(.... A few questions.

I was listening today and all the sudden my bass stopped. So I go check it out, amp is on so i smell the sub, don't smell anything then press on it and u gotta put some pressure on it to move it and it grinds when it does. What is wrong with it?

My second question now is.....since it is blow should I buy a new cone (it has the Quick change thing) or just sell it and buy a SI Mag?

Heyyy guess what, I took it apart today and I found 2 pieces. A cone and a magnet. Screwed them back together real tight and works like new.

Does it ALWAYS mean its busted if it grinds when cone is pushed in (regardless of brand, size, impedance etc)???????
