Not getting what I want from RLP

I have an RLP 12" sending it 600 watts off an Orion 600D. Not really sure, but I don't seem to like it. It makes noises at high volumes like its bottoming out..and the output is "allright". Not to sure..

if it's making noises at high volumes, check the enclosure for leaks... someone on the soundsplinter forum had the same problem basically. that and his gains weren't set correctly.

play the sub free air

A leaky box will make a rattling sound from the sub. and play the sub free-air to listen for any possible mechanical noise
