Sub/Amp randomly stopped working?

I run a Boss Riot 1100 watt amp and a 10" RocksfordFosgate sub.

The ground cable is connected to the bottom of my driver seat, and the amp is also located under it. Recently I took out the seats, because I was cleaning them. All I did was unhook the ground cable. When I reconnected the cable when i was done cleaning, the bass was not working anymore. The amp still turns on though. The power light is on, but not the protection light anymore. I'm guessing maybe its the fuse? Any solutions? Really want to get it fixed. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

is your ground connected tightly to a nonpainted bare metal surface?

Yes, it is.

Try pulling out your fuse and checking if you blew it? I'm assuming you didn't unplug the battery when you undid the ground so in doing so you probably just popped the fuse because the ground wasn't connected to anything.
